The team was founded in 2011 by Daven Cogar. His goal was to create a team that players can be a part of, but would not interfere with family and work. He brought in new owners Jason Williams and Gary Hinte for the 2015 season. We are part of the BCFL (Blue Collar Football League) this season. The WV Storm is a relatively new football team that is growing in popularity in the area. We have just begun training for our fifth season, which opens April 2015. Semi-Pro Football is played much like college and the NFL, and on a standard football field. We play 4-15 min quarters, making for a very exciting game. The WV Storm held the best record in the state of West Virginia in 2012 and was ranked as high as 6th Nationally. We were also ranked 4th in 2013. The WV Storm made the playoffs in 2014.
